Stop Motion

Here I have been introduced to the world of stop motion, where vast amounts of photos are taken sequentially and linked together to create a visual feast for the eye. Many effects can be created using this simply but effective technique, which would normally involve specialist software and allot of time. We were shown different examples of stop motion animation prior the brief vi-or You-Tube to get us aquatinted withe the idea. I have posted a few couple of examples I found entertaining to demonstrate the technique.





Now the practical bit...
I had fun taking the photographs for the animation though it began to get a bit tedious nearer the end. The process involved very small movements between photos and careful thought on how each picture came out, needless to say, 'it took some time'.
